So I wasn’t getting what to write about in my first post…but..as my blog is all about travelling, what could be better than to kick off with your own country.

Well, My first piece of writing. (Nervous? – Nah.. :p)

My passion for travelling had initiated in me when I was maybe around 11 or 12. I love going to all kinds of different, unusual, weird, exciting, boring, any kind of place. The Himalayas in the North, or the Desert of Thar. The deep blue Ocean at the southern most tip, or the stunted Sahyadris in the West. The forests in the North East or the temples in Varanasi. I have been to all these places (some I remember and some I don’t as I was too young at that time…but still my feet have touched all these wonders of the globe.)  The first ever sight of the Himalayas mesmerized me to the core. Those huge mountains, that chill in the air, those short ferns around every corner of the road, waving, whenever a car passes by. Those short treks on The Sahyadris. The Safari in the Bandipur National Park. The scorching Sun in Goa. All have been locked by the computerji in my brain and won’t be sent to the recycle bin ever. So this was something of an overview of my experiences but now lets move on to the actual topic.

We all need a break. At some point of our life we do need to just chill out and F5 our brains and come back to start afresh.. What could be better than to fly off to some distant place..sit on an armchair..with a cup of hot coffee in your hand..and just relax. Whenever, anyone talks about going out for a peaceful and a calm vacation their minds drift off to the Grand Canyons or the Loch Lomond or the Niagara falls and etc etc. But actually they don’t need to. Our own country has numerous such places, which are very less explored, discovered, where you can go and just relax your mind and take a deep breath and say, “Yeah, this is Life.”

India has an ample number of places that are still left unexplored and unheard of. The country is known for its scenic beauty and the perfect blend of exotic flora and fauna. There are several attractive places in India that offer superlative picturesque views that leave you with unforgettable experiences.

The pleasant weather in winters and the view of the snow clad mountains at a distance gives it great potential to be one of the most famous tourist attractions, but fortunately, it’s very less heard of.
